Oneself is a Dutch company specialising in at-home health diagnostics. We supply the INSTI HIV Self Test to customers across Europe — a CE-certified rapid test manufactured by bioLytical Laboratories in Canada, used by clinics and community organisations worldwide.
What we do
We help people across Europe access reliable HIV self-testing in private. Through instihivtest.com, we ship the INSTI HIV Self Test in plain, unmarked packaging to customers who prefer to test at home — on their own schedule, in their own space.
Why we do it
Knowing your HIV status is one of the most important things a person can do for their health. Yet for many people, going to a clinic isn't realistic — whether because of distance, time, privacy concerns, or stigma.
Self-testing fills that gap. It gives people a way to take control of their health on their own terms, without needing to explain themselves to anyone. Our role is to make that as straightforward and trustworthy as possible: an accurate, regulator-approved test, delivered with the discretion this subject deserves.
How we work
We focus on a single product, done well. The INSTI HIV Self Test is WHO Prequalified (PQDx 0002-002-01, since November 2018) — the first and only blood-based HIV self-test to receive this status. It is also CE certified for the European market, FDA cleared for over-the-counter self-testing in the United States, and approved by Health Canada. The test detects antibodies to both HIV-1 and HIV-2 from a single drop of blood, with results in about 60 seconds.
All orders ship from the Netherlands in plain unmarked packaging. Billing on your bank statement appears under "Oneself" — never anything HIV-related.
